Rooms are situated in Palm, Pool, Lagoon and Beach Wings, while suites are located in Pool and Lagoon Wings, all featuring private terraces or balconies.

Younger guests are invited to visit a dedicated children's activities centre at Hernando's Hideaway. Guests can enjoy a diversity of leisure activities within this world-acclaimed resort. There are numerous sporting pursuits, plus tours and classes - some going behind-the-scenes, and special places and activities for peace and solitude.
The most convenient way of traveling to Hayman is via Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island) where Hayman's launches, seaplanes and helicopters connect with all incoming and outgoing commercial flights. A member of the Hayman team greets guests on arrival at Great Barrier Reef Airport and arranges for the transfer of guest luggage from flights to the connecting launch, seaplane and helicopter transfers to Hayman.

Children Policies
Hayman, which has been named Leading Family Resort Australasia in the 2008 World Travel Awards, has heaps of fun and exciting activities happening at Hernando’s Hideaway
This special place is home to the Kids Club and Crèche and welcomes young visitors up to the age of 12. Babysitting services are also available in the resort.
Look out for the special two-course Kids Menus in Hayman's restaurants which have been designed just for children and offer healthy and nutritious food. For children aged 4-12 years inclusive, a 50% discount applies for children's portions selected from a la carte menus in the restaurants. Full prices apply for beverages. There is no charge for children aged up to 4 years dining in the restaurants or for milk or other formulae ordered for babies' bottles through In Room Dining.
In consideration of other guests, could we please ask that children do not bring to Hayman any scooters, rollerboards etc. as there is lots to entertain them on the island.
