About the Hotel
The Prince hotel doesn’t try hard to be cool, it just is. As soon as you walk into the raspberry-hued lobby you’re engulfed by an aura of understated luxury. Rooms are contemporary, white and minimalistic with the somewhat obligatory Starck-designed bathrooms kitted out with Aesop goodies.
Each is beautifully decorated with oil paintings and etchings, smooth ceramics, cray lamps, stained wooden fittings and lust-worthy designer furniture. Most rooms are located around a peaceful inner courtyard, though the posher suites have balconies overlooking achingly hip Fitzroy Street.
A rooftop spa, underground vodka bar and award-winning restaurant all add up to create one of Melbourne’s most fashionable hotels. Staff are warm and friendly and prove there’s substance behind all the style.
Location & How to get there
Located 27km from Melbourne Airports, approximately 30 minutes by taxi or shuttle coach. The Prince hotel is in the heart of St Kilda, 5kms South East of the CBD. Limousine transfers can be arranged and airport shuttle coaches provide regular hotel connections. The Prince car park is located on the corner of Acland and Jackson Streets.
