About the Hotel

There is no real need to set foot outside of the Maya Ubud Resort & Spa. This 10-hectare hillside resort can be considered “full-service”, with synthetic grass tennis courts, cycling and trekking tours, cooking classes and even two-hole putting green on the premises.

Only a short walk from the artistic Balinese town Ubud, the Maya boasts 48 rooms split into two separate wings overlooking two river valleys. The plethora of dining outlets are first-class, from the poolside Maya Sari Mas to the “spa cuisine” at the River Café and the United Nations of culinary delights at Maya Sari Asiatique – replete with its own teppanyaki counter.

And no one will be bored. Guests needing a major dose of Vitamin D can just bake next to one of the property’s two pools, while the lunchtime cooking class allows students to learn the intricacies of golden spring rolls and seafood in banana leaves.
