Luxury villas are a study in “minimalistic hideaway chic”: monochromatic black-and-white vie with shades of beige and brown at this beachside tribute to lavish extravagance. The signature Vabbinfaru Villa includes manicured gardens, an al fresco living pavilion, sundeck and outdoor shower.
Try dining with the sand between your toes at Ilaafathi restaurant, which specializes in a heady mix of Maldivian and international favorites. Naiboli Bar provides the setting for a relaxing night out with friends, and the famous spa has all the treatments you’d expect. A private dinner a deux can also be arranged on a secluded sandback, reachable only via speedboat.
Occupying the entire island of Vabbinfaru, the jewel of the North Malé Atoll, Banyan Tree Maldives Vabbinfaru lies in secluded luxury, yet merely 20 minutes by speedboat from the airport and Malé, the capital of the Maldives.
Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Conservation
Since the founding of our Company, we have considered the physical and human environment when making business decisions. The resorts and hotels that we have built have been constructed using design and construction techniques that minimise damage to the environment to the extent practicable. Where practicable, we also opt for environmentally friendly methods in our operations such as installing a biologic waste water treatment system at Banyan Tree Bintan to recycle waste water for irrigation purposes. In addition, we seek out opportunities to support local businesses. Each resort also carries out community development and environmental projects.
