Naumi
41 Seah Street
Singapore, 188396
Singapore
The modern contemporary, yet enigmatically named Naumi says it is an “urban oasis”, but it is actually more of a design gem. Fawning press reports agree, with mentions in news outlets such as Time Magazine and a spot on Conde Nast Traveler’s Hot List 2007.
The “cosmopolitan chic” lobby is a work of art in itself, all quirky design and twee touches. Compared with the charming entranceway, guestrooms – with beige carpets, wood furniture, and floor-to-ceiling curtains – seem sedate, almost staid. That said, all rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and suites could even include patios or wine chillers.
Nice extras include a bath menu of popular cult skincare products featuring products from the likes of Dr Hauschka and Decleor. A lovely pool area armed with button-like deck chairs, state-of-the-art workout and yoga room (which exhorts guests to “stretch your limit”) and casual dining at the Naumi Restaurant & Bar complete the guest options at this hotel.
Naumi Located at the heart of the central business district and a few minutes' stroll away to vibrant shopping, cultural and heritage legacy and in the midst of all exciting nightlife of Singapore. 20 km away from Changi International Airport, 20 minutes to reach Naumi.
