This stylish four-bedroom beach villa has a striking modern design that provides the ultimate in luxury living. Designed exclusively for the beach lover in mind, louvered windows throughout the villa capture varying views of the ocean while the small araylia-shaded garden complimented by a Balinese-tiled infinity pool leads directly through a little gate onto the sandy strip of beach at Dalawela. The name Ambalama means ‘resting place’ and its intimate design cleverly mirrors this.

The villa is entered across stepping stones over a water pool into an open plan living/dining area enhanced by a lofty ceiling and cool terrazzo floor. The vividly coloured sofas and interesting artwork offset the natural colour scheme of the villa which is characterised by weathered wooden pillars, modern furniture and lightly painted walls. Imposing double teak doors take you from here into the tiny enclosed garden where further seating and sun beds by the pool are ideally situated for sipping sundowners in full view of the ocean and the blushing sky.

For ocean lovers the sandy strip of beach at Dalawela is ideal for sunset strolls while the coral lagoon just a few minutes walk from Ambalama offers safe swimming year-round and a chance to watch local fishermen in action.

The villa has a staff of six; an English-speaking resident manager, a chef, two housekeeping staff, a gardener and a night-watchman.
