About the Hotel

The theme here is the “resplendence of life”: instead of out-and-out luxury and pretension, guests are treated to the natural panorama of Lanta Island and the absence of partying crowds in search of the next “full moon party” – in short, the dearth of all the bêtes noires of the thinking traveler.

Instead of grappling with the vegetation, Sri Lanta graciously accepts it. Thatched villas and a black-tile pool coexist peacefully with armies of monkeys and lizards, so here’s hoping you are a wildlife lover. Although villas are simply adorned, you are hardly slumming: standard Cottages, Veranda villas, Star Path villas (with gazebo and outdoor bathtub) and Beach Houses all boast the necessary amenities.

When you are not in your villa communing with nature, you can be outside eating some of it at Surya Chandra restaurant, named after the Hindu gods of the sun and the moon and comprised mainly of whole trees supporting a roof 13 meters above.

Location & How to get there

The Boutique Sri Lanta resort is located on the west coast of the island of Koh Lanta Yai. Occupying 12 acres of landscaped hillside and beachfront by the Andaman Sea, the island is part of Krabi province, Southwest Thailand and is located approx. 75 km south of Krabi city.Krabi is an 80 minute flight away from Bangkok.

The transfer from Krabi airport – SriLanta by van & speedboat takes approx. 1 ½ hrs. The transfer by van only (crossing by car-ferry) takes approx. 2 ½ hrs. The second nearest airport is Trang, 90 minutes by air from Bangkok. The transfer time from Trang airport – SriLanta by van & speedboat takes approx. 2 ½ hrs.

The transfer by van only takes 3 ½ hrs. It takes approx. 3 ½ hrs. to travel from Phuket airport to SriLanta by van & speedboat and 4 ½ hrs. by van only. Transfers by van & speedboat are in daytime and depend on weather conditions.
