Drama queens – and kings – may find this dramatically designed property set on a rocky outcropping on the northern tip of Samui a soul mate in the shape of a resort. The 20-acre Six Senses Hideaway looks out over the Gulf of Siam and amply succeeds in providing a sense of privacy, and even isolation.
Zen-like villas would resemble hermit hideaways if they weren’t so attractively designed. White and wood clothe the rooms, but the main decoration star comes courtesy of Mother Nature: the surrounding seascape. All villas feature gigantic windows to let in panoramic views, and most include infinity pools overlooking the horizon.
Dining at the Six Senses – either on the rocks or on the hill – is almost as much of a treat as the view; herbs and greens come from the resort’s very own gardens. The requisite Six Senses Spa emphasizes a holistic approach to de-stressing guests, the perfect end to the day.
Location & How to get there
Six Senses Hideaway Samui is located on a headland on the northern tip of Samui Island, approximately six kilometres from Samui International Airport and a 45-minute flight south of Bangkok. The resort is an easy and scenic 10-minute drive from Samui International Airport.

The Environment
Six Senses Hideaway Samui a SALA Property was Green Globe 21 Benchmarked on 20 December 2006. Specifically, we achieved best practice results in six indicators: water saving, waste recycling, community commitment, community contributions, paper products and pesticide products.
In recent years we have initiated many projects to minimise our impact on the environment and the (local) community. Examples include creating our own bio-diesel, filtering and recycling our wastewater and working together with UNICEF and Restaurants Against Hunger. Currently we are looking at many more upgrading projects at our Heart of the House area in order to support the environment.
